About Basecamp
Basecamp Wanaka Climbing Centre was established in 2009, Our indoor facility consists of a Clip ‘n Climb arena, Sport Climbing Wall and Bouldering Room.
We have been offering outdoor rock climbing and abseiling adventures in the Wanaka area since 2014.
We are safety focussed and operate to the highest standards both indoors and out. You will find our staff to be friendly, approachable and keen to share their expertise no matter whether you are a beginner or experienced rock climber.
We are located at 50 Cardrona Valley Road next to Ruby’s Cinema and Jack Rabbit Restaurant and only 1.5km from the lakefront. We are open 7 days a week, with something for everyone.
