The Cliffhangers Climbing Club formed to support climbing in Wanaka and Otago.
The club aims are:
- Provide learners an experience of climbing within a friendly environment
- Support opportunities for locals in the South Island region to participate in competitions
- Encourage climbing in the local area
The club is committed to promoting, fostering, and developing rock climbing in the Wanaka region. It organises the weekly training nights, and other club activities during the year.
